A great diversity of places and encounters.

I enjoyed very much this excursion in the Picardie: beautiful landscapes and nice encounters.

There are some interesting aspects of this region: the Baie de Somme ( the beaches and the salt meadows, the migratory birds, the harbor or common seals, the horseback riding tours-Aurélie Stoll and the Henson horses), the lakes and rivers of PIcardie ( the guide Christophe Marie and the canoeing on the Somme river) , the Cathedral of Amiens (the Gothic style, the painted facade, the relic of Saint Jean-Baptiste) the cathedral of Beauvais or the end of the huge cathedrals, the Picard language (the school of Ally-le-Haut-Clocher, the teaching of Picard language with the puppet "La Fleur", Jean-Marie Braillon and the French-Picard dictionnary, the story teller Jean-Marie François at the theater festival in Saint-Valéry-sur-Somme), the equestrian trail "Route du Marioille ( the Thiérache country, Claire Halleux and the Maroilles cheese at Haution) , the flight over the battle field de la Somme, the commemoration ceremonies, Jean Boucault and the mobile carriage with the carrier pigeons) and the Parc Astérix (created in 1989 , the comedian Lyne, the organizer Sébastien, the spectacle).

I enjoyed the encounters of Jérôme with the land yachting instructor Lonel Boone, with the marsh samphire collector Alain Tison, with Laure Henry at Amiens, with Gilbert Fillinger-Maison de la Culture d'Amiens-, with the typographer Julien Noiroux and the journalist Isabelle Nicolas at the Démocrate de l'Aisne, with Clklaire Amiable at the Cité souterraine de Naours, with the hunting horn player Hubert Michaux at Senlis, with the head gardener Thoierry Basset at Chantilly castlewith Sophie Thalmann and the parents of Antoine Fosse at the Prix de Diane ; nice encounters with very kind French men and women.
