Lets face it, the character Joe is a total jerk during the whole series, and this is the beginning. He either cant handle the fact that his wife has a gift or is just jealous of her. My husband says "Thats back then." I told him, " It was 2005!" Lets just face it, Joe is a tool! Its only the last episode that he is actually nice. He cant handle the fact that his wife has a gift. His 2 oldest children have the gift and he cant handle that either because he is such a supportive husband and father. He can't see how he is hurting his own family! I love this series but I really hate Joe the tool. It just so surprising.
