An interesting and nice excursion.

I enjoyed very much this excursion in the Vercors: beautiful landscapes and nice encounters.

There are some interesting aspects of this region: the winter in the Vercors (Vincent and José and the mountain refuge of "La Molière", Vincent is also photographer, later Béatrice Ardet-the Salle "L'Anecdote" at Autrans and the choir singin, many cultural activities in these mountains), the forest of the Vercors (the forests belonging to the communes and to private owners, Gérard-the lumberjack and mayor of Corrençon-,the selection of trees to fell, his son John-the carpenter and wooden houses builder, the family hotel-a masterpiece of carpentry-), the life in the villages near Grenoble (the work in the town and the life in the village of Lans-en-Vercors, Jérôme Narcy-the photographer and blogger-, the couple of Fabienne-the infographist and Pasang-the cook- , the Nepali food in the restaurant), the biathlon athletes in the Vercors (Julie Gleizes and her study at the college of Villard-de-Lans-, Claire Breton-member of the French national team and living in Corrençon), the opening up of the Vercors (the road construction in the 18th century , the maintenance of the roads with snow plows, the cooperative of the milk producers and the 4x4 lorry for the milk collection) and the hiking in the Vercors (Théo Sanson and the snow shoes walk and the slack line in the mountain).

I enjoyed the encounters of Jérôme with the mountain guide in the Massif des Coulmes, with Jean Lambert and Claude Gaillard at Corrençon, with Lydya and Berard Chabert at the Auberge of Malaterre, with Pierre-Antoine Simonneau and Alice Chabert at Villard-de-Lans, with Stéphane Guillot-Diat-the hockey player, with Angélique Doucet and Gilles Dacier-Faloue at Chatelus, with Jean-Luc Odeyer at Saint-Laurent-en-Royans with Laurent and Marlène Garnier at the Cave of Chorange and with the musher Erwan Mairy at the Camp Vanier; nice encounters with very kind French men and women.
