It's a simple love story of two outsiders who find each other to complete themselves. FL grew up with dysfunctional family relationships and a lot of insecurities and found the healing love into ML who was raised by lovely parents. ML was a quiet and humble boy who dreamed big to be an artist. Unfortunately he got an incurable eye disease, which influenced his work life immensely.
Both had a big thing for Edgar Allen Poe, an actor who wrotes horrific crimes what brought them together. The movie teaching us: fight your insecurity and hold on your love! Love heals everything!
The cast wasn't only beautiful to look at, they were also very competent in their acting. FL and ML had a lot of chemistry and it felt they know each other for long time. It was a pleasure to watch them playing. I am a big fan of the ML actor Tan Jianci. His acting is all over the place and super professional. His eye acting is so on point it feels he would merge into this character complete and forgot his own self. I hope to see more of him on the big screen in the future. That man deserves an Oscar, or two.
