A wise use of details of a house. Objects, . A single man. A bizarre sound. The discover of it. And the objects.

Nothing new but well crafted scene by scene, offering all the traits of psychological short film more than a horror.

Indeed, many things are more than familiar but, at the end, the fine acting of Sean. Vincent Biggins , middle age man , looking to a wedding photo , represents the main good point of a film reminding, , to the end, one of Edgar Allen Poe very familiar texts.

In short, admirable atmosphere , old recipe , beautiful acting and the clever construction of thrill. Enough for see The Sound at Night.
