I settled into the seat with the hope of an exciting disaster film about an attack that was thwarted on a train route that runs through my home country. I had no idea what was coming at me. The attack itself is barely five minutes of the entire film! Instead, I look in amazement at a biography about 3 friends growing up and all the problems they faced in their youth.
As if that wasn't enough, the film also has very poor acting. Only after doing some research did I discover that the main characters (the 3 American soldiers who foiled the attack) were also effectively played by these 3 American soldiers who saved so many lives. However, that is the only thing that makes this film 'beautiful'. It is a nice tribute to the 3 heroes. But it is far from a good film full of suspense that I had hoped for.
The best moment of this tribute in the film was the switch from the film itself to a news fragment in which the 3 heroes are praised by the French President and where their actions are highlighted.
