Agnieszka Holland rock's. I loved this film. It's incredibly compassionate and empathetic trough the situation. I'm from Romania... and I'm an activist , for human rights... we have the same stories here, with all kinds of refugees... for all kind of reasons... People are arriving from Bulgaria or trough Ukraine , Romania is saving people from mountains when they call 112 that they get lost and so on ...we helped Russians to pass trough, because they were really refugees and they get asylum and safety. Here the problems are the mafia who is trafficking some of these people and the stories that they teach them to repeat...and the greed of the traffickers and guard ...here the bad guys are the Hungarians who will send them back. At least Romania is safe for them...
Now with the Ukraine and the Russian scare ... we became more aware, that other people have ...all kind of emergency...an this movie will make you understand humanity and fatigue and love... in our NGO we decided, just don't take anybody home ...but we had the shelter until December 2023.
