18 years after the global success of the West German feature film THE GIRL ROSEMARIE (GOLDEN GLOBE 1959), director Rolf THIELE (co-founder of FILMAUFBAU GÖTTINGEN) has filmed a sequel. It was produced by Luggi WALDLEITNER (ACADEMY AWARD nomination in 1979 for DIE GLÄSERNE ZELLE).
Rosemarie Nitribitt's daughter (the Norwegian Playboy model Lilian MÜLLER) has now grown into a beauty and is now trying to finally solve her mother's murder. After all, the murder of the Frankfurt luxury prostitute was one of the biggest social scandals in the young Federal Republic. This of course leads to a satirical look at 1970s society in the Federal Republic of Germany and to selected sex scenes in the usual style of the sex film wave.
The male lead is played by the Hungarian actor Bela ERNYEY, who was the partner of EUROVISION star Heidi BRÜHL at the time. Horst FRANK and Hanne are back from the first film. Another new addition is Werner POCHATH.
The interesting cast can't save the messy story. And she's not even sexy enough. It's a shame about the missed opportunity!
