Goddammit...the movie is amazing, lovely, and moving, but why make such a good and beautiful movie, only to have it end like that? It's heartbreaking...I love Korean filmmaking, but I sometimes really want to slap them in the head and tell them to knock it off already with their weird, cultural obsession with sad and unhappy endings in EVERY movie that isn't a romance movie...Why do they always insist on being miserable? Why? What's so good about that? How is that satisfying in any way? I don't know where this is coming from, but they have serious issues when it comes to this particular aspect...I really want to give this a 9, because it was so good, and made me cry several times, but the ending left a bitter aftertaste in my mouth...
