Mother Valley (2023)

Amazing production and a still pertinent social chronicle.

Amazing production taking you back to 1958's Lebanon countryside and a social chronicle with sensual, educated and enigmatic young women actors caught in a fixed social communities construct which failed to provide their hearts and minds a Lebanese nation.

The so perfectly produced and suggested nostalgia for our mountain with its superb landscapes, apparently so peaceful in the promising years of progress and emancipation which followed the independence of Lebanon also inspires the bitterness of missed opportunities and squandered potential which ruined the creation of a nation on a land so beautiful and for citizens so sensitive, intelligent and open-minded.
