Antiques Road Trip (2010– )
9/10
Antiques, Travelogue and History all in one show

Warning: Spoilers
This show is Fabulous! It manages to teach us about history, the objects and art that were created and used by humanity throughout the centuries all while showing us the most beautiful towns in all of Great Britain( what no strip malls and convenience stores on every spare meter of earth!!???)

The experts they've pulled together are for the most part engaging characters and it's fun and interesting to see how they choose the objects they'll take to auction where all the proceeds go to children's charities.

The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is actually my own fault. I've been binge watching it for 5 days and parts of it are getting a little redundant. How many times can you hear about the merits of a decorative silver dish? On second thought it may be a real downfall of the show. Had they told the experts to try to diversify the objects they chose a little more there wouldn't be any boredom watching. The vast majority of things taken to auction were small in size. It would have been nice to see the array of things like on Antique Roadshow.

Overall though highly recommend if you're looking for some lighthearted viewing while seeing some beautiful scenery and architecture.
