I've only just found this movie and have to say one of the best Hallmarks in awhile. Shame it did not receive more recognition, in fairness it probably got lost in the 100+ Hallmark movies released in 2023.
For Hallmark purist it follows and hits the traditional Hallmark themes and milestones.
There is a slight but welcomed deviation with a modern subject matter and dialogue (the whispered 'hey babe' at the end when Hazel walks in the apartment won me). Natural chemistry between the leads and cast.

- Does not shame women for leaving small town to have a career, we don't have to have an epiphany and sacrifice all we have worked for. A couple who find love and have successful careers in the city.
- We come to understand that we make our own choices and take different paths in life and that's OK.
- A calm and sensible mother providing insightful advice.
