This is crazy. Seeing Jürgen Vogel in the preview made me think; "Well, let's give it a watch."
No big expectations here.
But I was BLOWN away.
Yes, some parts are clichéed, it's not the prettiest. Some parts might led you to believe it's dragging.
But this is all what's keeping it from a 10/10.
Vogel is incredible. Bleibtreu might even be a little better.
The deeper themes, the absolutely astonishing sound/music design, and the emotional depth make this the best movie I've seen in months.
Some absolutely beautiful shots. Experimental plot points, which thankfully work. And conclusions which make you question your own beliefs.
If you can look past some typical movie bad guys and enjoy the show, this will be an absolute banger.
