Directed by Tinto Brass, beloved Italian director who makes these erotic comedy, drama types with heavy explicit scenes with a story. Cheeky tells the story starts out about a girl, Carla, who is in London looking for a place. She gets a break when the realtor is apparently a lesbian and makes heavy advances. Carla's boyfriend, Matteo, gets jealous as he senses his woman is being unfaithful. So he decides to track her down and surprise visit her in London. Along the way he then discovers some past secrets of Carla and eventually things become further interesting.
The main selling point is the amount of skin and explicit scenes. Unlike typical Hollywood films, this film doesn't hold back and shows a lot of close ups to the leads parts, reminiscent of a soft core but more with a plot. The camera work and scenery of the cities are great and makes the film look great. Very clearly not a film for everyone but enjoyable if you have a certain preference for this type of thing.
