The Kitchen (I) (2023)
2/10
So Disappointing
19 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Where do you start with this poor excuse of a film, first of all there is no real storyline, you get thrown into it where a load of kids on motorbikes rob a food van and take it back to the estate for the people, Why this estate has become what it is is anybody's guess, you never get to know any of the characters back stories or what reason the police want the people out of the estate. Kano seems to be the main character and his acting was good, but on reading the script I am surprised he put his name to it. Isn't Wright plays the role of Lord Kitchen who I can only say is like a hospital Radio DJ, playing a few songs and making a few announcements over the tannoy, He dies. And his funeral gathers a large crowd, for what reason I am unsure ad you don't get to know anything about the character they could of saved some money and got someone off the street to play this part, as he literally did nothing in it.

If you are hoping it will be anything like TopBoy then you will be sorely disappointed, to be fair I wasn't expecting it to be like TopBoy and I was still disappointed.

I hope to see Kano in bigger and better things, as he deserves it.

So in summary The start was ok, The ending was non existent and the less said about the middle the better.
