I can't believe that you said you were afraid of it. Before these comments, I had never heard or read such things about this lovely series. If you are afraid of it, then Tom and Jerry has been your nightmare every night lol. I saw this series when I was eight years old and it was really my favorite. It is true that the grandmother's face is scary and very old, but she was exactly the kindest and most caring character in the story. When I have a child, I am sure that I will show her/him grandma's house. Because "Grandmother's House" is really kindly, even when you hear the opening credits, you will understand this very well.
