Mantracker (2006–2012)
9/10
A Canadian Classic

Amazing Canadian content that displays often ignored areas of the country. Most products nowadays cater to the largely metropolitan population, but Mantracker not only displays some of Canada's vast beauty, but also touches on the often ignored Western Canadian way of life. By all definitions, Mantracker (Terry Grant) is a true Canadian outdoorsman and a cowboy.

While the show may display some corny graphics , "the chase" is quite exhilarating. When watching it recently there was some concern over potential nostalgia bias but it has aged like fine wine. While Mantracker's one liners can come across as a bit staged and the prey's attempts to get in his head as artificial it no doubt provides a good laugh.

It's also neat to see just common people trying to take on nature as opposed to outdoor experts as is displayed in many other outdoor living shows.

Fantastic show, but glad they haven't tried to bring it back as Terry Grant is the one and only Mantracker. His sidekicks were awesome , but definitely couldn't take the lead role.
