Two Syrian hackers are desperate to defect and offers France intel on a massive future hack. Private contractor Gabriel Delage (Vincent Cassel) is sent to retrieve them, but the operation goes wrong. The hackers do manage to escape to London. Gabriel is sent again without London's knowledge. Alison Rowdy (Eva Green) working under Richard Banks (Peter Mullan) are working against an unknown computer hacker. London is devastated from various computer attacks.
This is a French-English production and often switches between these and other languages. There is some good French English rivalry. I like the Syrians early on although they become more like objects in the story. Cassel and Green are compelling espionage types. They are relatively good together. The villains are less compelling. This is a lesser espionage thriller series. It's a limited series with six episodes. It's a fine binge but easily lost within the genre.
