Setting aside the Santa spoiler (which is really disappointing), it's still just a bad & boring movie. The entire thing is the same couple scenes over and over again - they're not even funny or suspenseful either. I kept waiting for something interesting to happen, and it didn't until literally the last 60 seconds of the movie. Greg is also a mean kid, which I wasn't expecting. My daughter has read some of the books so maybe that's a character trait of his I am just unaware of, and wouldn't be surprising to others who know the series well. Overall, there are sooo many good Christmas movies out there, this is just a waste of time.
