The headline is, of course, enough to draw interest - this being a work of one of the auteurs, and the "New German Cinema" - one who always has an interesting work to provide.
Heart of Glass is, indeed, one of his more interesting works, following his typical unconventional and even thourough and stellar style. The actors all do an incredible job, as one would expect from such a great and overall stellar cast, and the cinematography, cutting and editing is simply breathtaking, very much in line with Hertzog's ever appreciated style, and very beautifully put together.
Overall, indeed a masterpiece in every sense of the word, very sharply written, emotional and well acted. Like all of the master's films, highly recommended for any lover of film!
