Unique Order

"Two Strangers Who Meet Five Times" is a short movie about two men who meet five times in their life. One of them is named Samir and the other is named Alistair. The story begins with the scene when they meet at a cash point in the street. When Samir is about to leave, looking at his appearance Alistar says some insulting words to him and it makes him disgusted.

Although all of their five encounters are depicted in the film, it is not in chronological order. In fact, although the story begins with the encounter I describe above, it is their second meeting. Then, the third and fourth ones are depicted in a row, and after that, the first and fifth one. I think this plays a key role in the film because by doing so, viewers can understand and feel the point of the movie more deeply. I also think that this film makes good use of contrast like another short "The Lunch Date," because the position of two men clearly changes in accordance with the scene of each encounter.

In conclusion, this is a good film which uses some effective techniques that attract viewers. I think that many people can enjoy watching this.
