Warning: Spoilers
I'm watching this show now for the first time and it's definitely one of the best cops show ever. I am no expert of criminality in LA, but they do an excellent job in showing what a desperate situation it may be for a cop facing unsustainable odds.

When cops are underpaid and overworked, risking their lives every day for the ungrateful, resentful citizen, corruption is just behind the corner.

Vic and his team are not justifiable, but certainly I can understand why they do what they do. The problem is, once they start to slide they can just go deeper, as proved by the heartbreaking Lem's story. Lem was my favourite character, I wanted something better for him.

I'm now eager to see Kavanaugh's downfall. He's a master manipulator and my top disliked character. I totally hated him when he asked Vic if he was happy, when he himself is the cause of Lem's demise with his irrational hatred for the Strike Team, his illegal dealings with criminal Antwon and his tunnel-vision pursuit.
