Great Performances!!!

Warning: Spoilers
It is touted as a survival thriller. Manoj Bajpai plays Dasru a tribal person on the run with his 3 month old baby, falsely accused of killing his wife. He is hunted down by SI Ratnakar played by a brilliant Zeeshan Ayoub.

The movie is a journey of helplessness. We get an insight on the plight of the tribal people who are victims regardless whether they are for development or against the cause. Manoj Bajpai showcases the helplessness with his expressions and minimal dialogues. Dasrus journey from a rebel fighter to a man only living to provide for his family is heartbreaking. Dasru only wants to live for his kid. The extent to which he travels and his actions to make sure his kid is safe is inspiring.

The helplessness is not only limited to Dasru but Ratnakar as well. He silently suffers the exploitation of himself and tribal people. He tries to help in bits and parts in the end not amounting to anything.

The plight of the tribal people in the entire system is showcased in an effective manner especially of a tribal constable whose expressions will stay with you well after the movie is over.

As a thriller it does lose steam in the middle but highly recommended for performances.
