Pamela Franklin, who at the time was appearing some cult movie thrillers, is perfect for this bad, bad girl role. She plays Melissa who is a gold digger on steroids.

It's an interesting case, because the murder takes place on the gentleman's yacht, so Melissa actually had to swim back to shore. Not only is she rather clever, she's also a champion swimmer of sorts!
Lots of familiar character actors in this one, and fun to place the face. Robert Pine guest stars and veteran actress Phyllis Thaxter plays Aunt Meg.
Well directed by Ralph Senensky, who brought out some fine performances by everybody. Ralph was best known for many classic episodes of STAR TREK and THE FBI. He also did comedy and was associated with the PARTRIDGE FAMILY.
