Der Tatortreiniger (2011–2018)
4/10
It started very unique, but it went into the wrong direction

Warning: Spoilers
When I started with the first season of "Tatortreiniger", it felt really unique and interesting. There was Heiko Schotte, a guy from northern germany who is working as a crime scene cleaner. He had a wide knowledge around cleaning supplies and chemistry, and this was what made this show so unique to me.

The first season went really entertaining as a whole, but after a while, Heiko turned more into a therapist instead of a crime scene cleaner. Some characters from the newer seasons became really annoying, and the main plot was based around their personal problems, instead of the crime scene. And Heiko's story seemed also really repetitive to me. His persona is a guy in his 40s, who likes playing soccer with his friend, who is open for a relationship but still can't get over his big love, a woman called Merle. It feels like these two details are getting mentioned ine every episode at least once.

And this is like the point, where this show is getting weak for me. They had so much potential, to create a character with a "uncommon" job, who is cleaning some crime scenes, around people who are really kinda involved with it. But it went completely in an other way.

I guess in some episodes, they tried to play with "surreality" which brought a little bit more action into the plot.

The humor didn't caught me aswell and I was hoping for something that's more entertaining.
