The story was about the biggest robbery happened in China back in 1993, where some suspects were caught but 2 of them had escaped to another country. The story is so plain without any tricks. It mainly used the scenes to explain how to detective used the time to find the remaining suspects and it was by accident that they were captured by TV reports as they had flew back to China and changed their names already. The whole movie plot was without any surprising factors and it is quite difficult to complete the whole movie if it is not a Hong Kong movie. Anyway the act of Lam is good and I can feel the enthusiasm that he wants to catch the suspects as his cousin was killed.
