I absolutely love this game.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is the perfect bridge between Yakuza 6 and 7 as well as 8. For being a smaller title, Gaiden blew me away with its story, and the ending cutscene with Joryu in tears over the Morning Glory children was incredibly emotional. Gaiden is one of RGG Studio's best titles to date. I'm excited to see what RGG Studio has in store for Infinite Wealth.

The gameplay is top notch, as to be expected from RGG Studio. While not as diverse as Lost Judgment, Gaiden has very satisfying combat which makes Joryu/Kiryu feel very powerful. The Yakuza style is full of fun and strong abilities to obtain. The returning feature of buying upgrades with money from 0 makes for an interesting dynamic where you have to balance buying items and upgrades.

Overall this game completely blew away my expectations and has quickly become one of my favourite titles from RGG Studios.
