... she got possessed twice! No pun intended of course .. as always. Bob Logan the director would like to redo the movie - though only re-edit it if I understood correctly. Question is if there still is everything he shot? Because the studio made quite the reshoots after test screenings (with teenagers who had not seen Exorcist clearly back then).
That all said, I still had fun with the movie. Leslie Nielsen can sell any and everything for sure. Even the silliest things have some gravitas to them. Add some ... inappropriate jokes (and nudity) and you will get quite a few laughs. The movie also has jokes that have dated ... where you may not really know what they are talking about.
But while a lot of Exorcist stuff has been deleted, there is still more than enough for fans to recognize and love ... embrace it if you can!
