Throwback to the glory days of 80s slasher flicks
20 October 2023
This one is wild! The opening sets it up for what kind of wild ride you're about to have. There's a bachelorette party that goes a little crazy to say the least and from there it's a series of horror comedy done for those who can remember 80s slashers.

The make up effects are very impressive for what's considered a low budget horror movie. They're even better than studio horror movies who have bigger budgets. Goes to show audiences care more about quality of the story instead of flashy, crank em out boring horror.

Back in the 80s kids like me went to see the latest slasher movie to see those gory effects. This one doesn't disappoint plus there's a humorous story here too in between some effective scenes of horror and suspense. I had the chance to see this at an advanced screening and knew nothing about it. Those little known horror films tend to be the best ones and this is my favorite this year. No spoilers but the third act including the ending was very satisfying. A few folks involved in the production of this movie were on hand at the screening I attended. They're hope is this movie can gain enough traction for major release based on audience feedback. If this one hits your town, check it out and thank me later. Not since the first Elm Street movie has their been some new life breathed into the horror genre.
