5/10
Some interesting parts, and numerous unnecessary and uninteresting additions.

Warning: Spoilers
Finally! It has been obvious from early on that Preecher was also the victim of satanic abuse, but a confirmation is always reassuring. They should not have waited with this 'Revelation' for so long though. In fact, the past five episodes should have fitted into three, with some necessary omissions to ensure three 50-minute long episodes instead of the overly short 37-39 min episodes.

I understand the need to create and sustain suspense for the sake of sparking the viewer's interest - that is why some questions are left unanswered for a long time, or are even never answered at all. However, the writers' aim fails to be met, and it feels as if the story is dragging along on itself with decreasing coherence and abandonment or incompletion of subplots. Besides, where has the HORROR gone? About 80% of the episode consisted of drama 'filler' to give substance to the series (without actually doing this). The worst part is that some consistencies persist, like Dexter being an insufferable gas lighter, or Anna's despair. However, Siobhan is all over the place. I am uncertain whether to like her, hate her, or think nothing of her. Her coldness towards Anna was shocking and unusual coming from her. Unfortunately, this leaves me confused, and somewhat disappointed; as if there are different writers involved in determining her script such that her actions are so... Eclectic and illogical. I'm sorry, but this episode did not quite do it for me. Thankfully, Denis O'Hare never disappoints, and manages to completely immerse himself in the character he is portraying. Although there are some really f'ed up moments that Roberts enacts (eating a raccoon that has been dead for at least 4-7 days), I am still looking for a 'wow' factor which has unfortunately not emerged in this season. Sorry.
