1967's "Carry On Follow That Camel" was the second consecutively in the iconic Britcom series to drop the 'Carry On' prefix before adding it back, AND the second with a one-off replacement for poorly Sid James: Phil Silvers here (poor casting). In 1908 he's with the French Foreign Legion in Arabia under Kenneth Williams & Charles Hawtrey, and in command of Jim Dale & Peter Butterworth - all squabbling each other & battling sheik Bernard Bresslaw (good) with Angela Douglas & Joan Sims in support. Tho again directed by Gerald Thomas & written by Talbot Rothwell it didn't age well. For Silvers and other reasons the 13th proper 'Carry On' is not one of the best.
