Review of Love

Love (III) (2023)
5/10
deeper than the Malayalam version
11 September 2023
It was a pleasure to see that Love brought a deeper perspective than the Malayalam version. So many thanks to RP Bala for adding a new touch to this story.

DELICIOUS

-This Tamil remake gave us a more profound scope as to who Ajay and Divya were. There were several additions that allowed us to really dive into their worlds

-Performance was beautiful across actors; Bharath is a darling anytime, even when he's violent, there's still charm on his face😍 Vani Bhojan understood her role and gave us a good dose of passionate anger

-The coffee shop name, 'Blind chemistry', was so ironic yet true of Ajay's and Divya's relationship as it showed Divya's lack of discernment and blind faith to trust in a stranger like Ajay

-The cinematography was intentional and added flavor to the story. You could understand the movie without dialogues

BLAND

My concern with the overall story is the title Love. The scenario never gives a definition of what true love is.

What you mainly see is lots of chaos, confusion, betrayal, and depression that finally you wonder what we should take out from it

If what Ajay and Divya had before their marriage was called love, that was more infatuation...

Or does the film try to portray people's twisted interpretation of love? 🤔 The screenplay is quite misleading...
