This is a fantastic film. It has stunning imagination and constructs an enormous, grand worldview. It's a mythological story from ancient China, with many elements.
Although the special effects still have some flaws, and there aren't too many scenes of battles between gods and immortals. The scenes are still impressive. The opening battle in the snow and ice was spectacular.
The ancient architecture in the film is well made, with very rich details, realistic and with historical depth, showing the production team's care and effort.
