The worst Puppetmaster movie one has seen (so far) mainly because Toulon's puppets hardly appear in the story and when they do it is largely familiar footage from previous films in the series. Nothing much makes sense. Even the title of the film is nonsense with no sign of a curse. The present owner of the puppets Dr. Magrew (who?) obtains the services of a shy amateur wood carver Robert 'Tank' Winsley to make him a new doll. Robert spends the movie precisely carving wooden limbs etc and at the end the new doll is revealed. Except it isn't a doll and it's made of metal! That was puzzling as was the very abrupt ending. The human cast were uniformly rather bland. A most unsatisfactory film with no tension or excitement.
