Following what I would call the tried and test Hallmark Channel Original Movie format, this film is a joy.
It helps when you have a leading lady as good as Autumn Reeser involved, and that there's good chemistry btween her and the leading man (Jessie Metcalfe).
The story holds up, there's some lovely moments - when Hallmark get it right with these films they really get it spot on. I don't know why recently they've felt the need to tinker so much. Perhaps because they've lost some key players and want to go for a younger audience etc.
This is charming, this is warm, and that's really what I'm looking for from this sort of film.
