Don't believe the negative reviews. Give it a try and see for yourself!
Thoroughly entertaining and watchable!
I highly recommend you give the first two episodes a try, and if your not entertained by it at that point, then maybe this type of show is not for you.
I personally can watch (Uzo Aduba) a.k.a crazy eyes from (Orange Is The New Black) and (Taylor Kitsch) from (Savages) (Lone Survivor) any day of the week. Both have hoaned there craft in acting so well you actually believe that they are the characters they are portraying.
I personally was addicted to Oxycontin for 3 years after being given a prescription by my doctor after having back pain related issues. My life went from bad to, oh wow I think I'm gonna be ok now, to completley unmanageable very quickly due to how addictive oxys were! It is doctor grade heroin after all!
This show showcased alot of what I went through and I especially related to (Taylor Kitsch's) character, especially when he bit threw his finger while eating a burger, didn't even realize what he had done until his wife saw the blood and started screaming! I almost bit my tongue in half while at a hockey game while high on oxy and didn't realize what I had done until everyone sitting next to me started screaming and telling me there was blood all over my face and neck! Also a second time I had to go to emergency after my mom had found me bleeding out on the sofa from doing the exact same thing! This show really impacted me and actually reminded me how bad this drug really was! Now that I have been clean for many years I sort of tried to forgot about all the trauma I went through because of this evil drug!
Not sure if I wanted to be reminded haha but it's an entertaining show none the less.
Highly recommend you give it a chance.
