Sure, there is a lot of similarity to Julia Roberts' movie "Sleeping with the Enemy", but that didn't keep me from enjoying this beautifully filmed in Brandenburg TV movie.
I've only seen Muriel Baumeister once in a movie based on Rosamunde Pilcher (Wild Mountain Thyme) and Bernhard Schir twice played the bad guy in two Charlotte Link thrillers, but this film was so much better than the productions I've mentioned.
