A friend recommended this movie to me, but I put off watching it for a long time because of the low rating and reviews. So I don't know if it is because I went into it with super low expectations or what, but I ended up really enjoying this movie! Sure, it's your classic romantic comedy formula, but sometimes that's exactly what I'm looking for in a movie. If you like rom-coms, then you'll enjoy this one. It's a good casual watch with dinner or a Sunday afternoon movie. My favorite part was actually the mother daughter relationship. The daughter's life falls apart (gets fired, boyfriend cheats on her, breaks her foot, and all on the day before her 30th birthday) and then she has to move back home with her mom. The mom taking the daughter to her Zumba class and signing her up for a couples cooking class was so funny and cute and definitely reminded me of my mom.
