This story is NOT based on a true story. They can use anything they want to build their ficticious story. It does not matter if it resembles parts of a true story or not.
I honestly see no reason for all the harsh words on a romance story.purely made for entertainment.
I would think you discovered you did not care for the story line within fifteen minutes and could have simply changed the station to watch something else.
Instead, you chose to watch and critique the entire fictional story just so you could pick it apart with what you think should have been added or left out of the story line.
