I honestly had no idea what to expect when putting this movie on. But, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. It's a fun little movie, that has a plot that keeps you very interested, subtle yet fun humour and very interesting characters.
So I assumed when clicking on this movie that it would be that "daft" humour, which I really dislike, however it couldn't be further from as it was almost very lowbrow comedy used. The subtle references to Nic Cage's previous films and characters etc really added a fun comedic dynamic which I really didn't expect, but made it a really fun watch. This also worked really well with the plot as although this film is a bit of a gimmick, it maintained a fun yet interesting story.
It's not a breathtaking plot, but it's one that absolutely keeps you interested from start to finish, it's one that makes you root for the characters, it's one that will make you laugh, it's one that will have you on the edge of your seat at times. It's honestly just such a fun little movie and I'm really glad I watched this.
