Cynophobia and Gel
12 July 2023
Herschel Sparks is taking care of his brother's dog since he is in jail. When the dog escapes from his backyard, the animal runs into the Cooper's garage where Sheldon is. The boy has cynophobia and is terrified with the dog, and Mary forces George to ask Herschel to keep the dog in his house. However, the dog feels attraction for Sheldon and sneaks to be close to him, creating a problem between the Coopers and the Sparks.

"A Dog, a Squirrel, and a Fish Named Fish" is another funny episode of "Young Sheldon". His cynophobia is hilarious, and the imbecile attempt of his family giving a fish to him makes laugh a lot. The fight between Mary, Brenda and Meemaw, with Pastor Jeff trying to help the group of Christians is also laughable. The conclusion, explaining the reason why the dog is mysteriously attracted by Sheldon, is the best part of the show. My vote is eight.
