Vicaria (Laya DeLeon Hayes) is an overly intelligent school girl who lives in the projects. Kango (Denzel Whitaker) is the local drug dealer. Her mother was shot in the head when she was just eight. Recently her brother Chris (Edem Atsu-Swanzy) was also killed. Vee believes death is a disease and she secretly works to find a cure in order to bring back her brother Chris. Jada (Amani Summer) her niece, gives her nicknames like "Mad Scientist" and "Body Snatcher." Tapping into the local substation, Vee manages to bringher brother back to life. Eventually he goes on a killing spree. The message (PLOT SPOILER) is that if people call you a monster, you will believe it and act like one.
