I have neved watched a movie made in Turkey. I saw a review and said to give it a chance. I don't regret it.
It was a great experience! I studied psychology and I was very interested in trauma and systemic psychology and the tv shows has a lot of this in it.
There are a few things that don't add up but if you pay more attention to the characters it will be better.
I did not like how it ended and it seemed too twisted for me. I feel they could have splitted the last episode into two but it's common nowadays to wrap it up in the last minute.
I loved the beauty of the scenes and actors, the little jokes of the ladies and the athmosphere in general. It happened a lot of times to feel envy for the girls because they are so strong together and share every aspect of their lives, which can be far from reality, buuuut a lot of aspects are a little SF in this show.
You can go deep into your past, but not like that and usually not without trust in the leader. If I think better, it would have been a 10* series if it would have been 2 seasons.
Oh, and the wedding, dude, that was cringe af.
