Everything about this is so wonderful. It perfectly reflects the trans experience and, as a trans person, made me really happy to see, even though it is quite a sad film. This film really nails the feeling of trans anger, at just being so fed up with people not being accepting, of having to hide, and of being rejected by those who are supposed to be there for you. The actor for Frankie did an amazing job and was extraordinarily compelling, as well as all of the other actors present. A combination of amazing screenwriting, direction, set-dressing and the perfect selection of actors really made this film something that I'll remember. :)
