Fragments from the story of David. Not impressive but far to be the worst version of familiar story of persecution of future king of Israel by Saul. Maybe too long, maybe too slow, maybe too naif but acceptable for fair explore of enthusiasm of youth and desire of revenge, for few, not so many, performances, for the hard try to propose a coherent story , for simple sketches and awful fight scenes.
A boy losing his family under the angry of king Saul becomes the felow of David. In some measure, exactly the option of director for Jeff Chandler as David is , for me, one of not so inspired ideas , the noble intentions, the deep honesty being better served by a David Knight , Jonathan in this film.
