Absolutely love the series but S05 disappointed

I absolutely loved the series, Midge, Abe, Rose, Susie, all characters are too good. I so didn't want this series to end and wanted to see Midge's rise to fame. But to my great disappointment S05 seemed too rushed as if writers were too desperate to close. The way S05 moved across timeline back and forth really didn't retain the interest and the plot seemed too loose ended. Though last episode tries to bring everything together but leaves u wanting for more. Really expected a better last season, more fitting ending to a great series. Not sure if I am the only one who thinks that last season was not good.
