These writers have 40-50 minutes to fit what they can into the episode. They could've shown how much Barry has improved by him taking on all of the speedsters in a 5v1, or maybe he struggles, get's some assistance, then pulls it off. Instead what they decide to do is have each member of team flash fight their own speedster.
They have Cecile beat Godspeed by simply looking at him. Khione beats Zoom by absorbing his lightning and throwing it back at him. Keep in mind, Zoom can catch lightning and throw it back at whoever throws it. We saw this in Season 2.
Nora's fight with Savitar was acceptable because it's two speedsters. Towards of their insanely short fight, Savitar grabs Nora the same way he did to Iris back in season three. This would've been good if she didn't escape his clutch and immediately die to his own dagger. Back in season three whenever Barry used the speed bazooka, Savitar easily dodged it, despite the fact that the beam of the bazooka moved faster than Mach 7. Realistically, Nora is faster than this. However, in the Elseworlds crossover Barry says he's running Mach 7 while lapping around the world 5 times in one second. So if Savitar can easily dodge something moving at that kind of speed, how does he get stabbed in the back without any slight maneuver.
Best part of this episode was that Thawne actually killed Chester! Oh wait... he didn't? Whenever I was watching this moment, I knew he wouldn't die. These directors are too scared to kill of these characters, even if they're side characters.
The name of this show is "The Flash" not "Cecile and Friends", so stop writing it like that. Literally one of the final scenes for the entire show is Joe proposing to Cecile. This part should be about BARRY ALLEN, you know, the main character? Eric Wallace keeps giving all these side characters their own episode. All these people who are giving this episode a 10/10 have to be bots.
I've never been more disappointed with a Flash episode, and this is even worse because it's the GRAND FINALE. Poor writing, poor pacing, poor climax, poor characters, poor everything.
