Great film, despite some sloppy details

Warning: Spoilers
The good: A true story based on a Portuguese icon of the late 20th century. It does not stop at the nice story, but progresses to show how he was perpecuted by military burocracy not due to his proficiency as a military kitary but just because he was a symbol. Cinematographically speaking it is a film where actors appear to know how army officers act and interact, conversely to other films focusing the same epoch.

The bad: Nothing I can think of.

The ugly: Unfortunately lack of detail. From Delfim (Frederico Barata) being shown as an army Lt. Colonel on one scene and 2 scenes after he is a Major again, to other historical imprecisions on props (Otelo being shown with Major epaulets at a time he was graduated as a Brigadier General). But one of the most flagrant was the moment when Brigadier Junqueira dos Reis ordered a soldier standing on an armored vehicle to shoot Maia, instead of the historical version where the soldier is inside the combat vehicle manning the gun. I doubt the director lacked a military advisor.
