For the most part, it's a pretty bad episode, with a quite uninteresting story and poor script, but it's absolutely saved by the last fifteen minutes! I'm not going to spoil anything, but it had me out of my chair with excitement and surprise
Even at its best, though, the writing really weighs-it-down. The action was really cool, though, and it's fantastic to finally see Gar/Beast Boy in all his glory after a multi-season journey
It could've been a really cool episode, had the script been done better. I really like Gar as a character, though, and Ryan Potter is awesome here! Really had the potential to be one of the show's best episodes, especially with what we see towards the end, but aside from that insanely good fan service, it's generally pretty bad.
