Drama, action, and even a little romance. A great movie does not just have one genre that it sticks to. I feel the director did a great job at sending us viewers through the ups and downs of the characters lives. The suspense is what did it for me. Just when you think you know who the villain is, the movie throws you for a loop.
I believe the director also left room for a sequence or a part 2 at the end. You're left wondering "is this person going to come back later for revenge?"
